Cleanroom
Facilities
The effective implementation of controlled environment solutions,
whether a cleanroom or a containment facility, lies in CRC’s
ability to combine the skill of engineering and integrating air
moving and filtration systems with the design of the actual structure
and finishes. CRC’s unique understanding
of applying these specifically to a customer's own application and
need produces successful solutions.

Cleanroom
Facilities
designed to keep the outside
environment from getting in.
|
A Cleanroom facility is a specific zone or envelope, supported
by mechanical systems, designed to exclude external contamination
and minimise internal contamination. It achieves this by maintaining
the zone at a positive pressure to its surroundings and scavenging
it with very clean air.
Applications:
• Pharmaceutical Production -
drug development and manufacture
• Medical Device Manufacture - asthma inhalers, drug delivery
systems
• Microelectronics - electronic
device manufacture and assembly
• Aerospace - guidance systems, composite material fabrication
• Healthcare - hospital
pharmacies
• Fibre Optics - telecommunications systems across all sectors
• Nanotechnology - building materials
& products with atomic precision engineering
Containment Facilities
A Containment Facility is a specific zone or envelope, supported
by mechanical systems designed to maintain a controlled condition
that contains what is in the zone. It achieves this by maintaining
the facility at a negative pressure to its surroundings usually
and by ensuring that any air exhausted from the zone is suitably
treated prior to discharge.
