CRC’s Responsibilities:

 

CRC were employed as the main contractor to redesign and refurbishment the hospital’s sterile services department. The contract to include commissioning and validation of new and existing HVAC system. CRC acted as the Principal Contactor.

Project Outline:  

CRC initially provided design services to achieve the employer’s requirements and meet their performance specification.
The requirement was to re-design and refurbish the whole sterile services department to include upgrading the packing area to ISO Class 6. In addition to refurbish and upgrade the staff facilities and offices.
The upgrade and refurbishment of the entire facility to be completed on a staged basis to provide continuation of this crucial internal service to the hospitals operating theatres.
The total square area is 740m2. The clean areas are all at ISO Class 6 and measure approximately 254m2.
Services included upgrading of incoming utilities, including steam, water, waste, electrical power supplies, HVAC, data & voice, fire detection, building management systems.
