CRC provide an experienced consultancy and management
service covering cleanrooms and controlled environment design. This
service draws on our significant in-house and qualified engineering
experience from the actual design and build processes that form
the majority of our business. The service can embrace all aspects
including host building and internal structures, finishes, services
and installed equipment.
Our consultancy service can be set at almost any required level
of detail and can typically:
- Provide
an early feasibility study and report which would normally include
budget financial and timescale implications
- Provide front-end outline designs which
can verify spatial, layout and main services requirements
- Identify incoming
support utility services required for a particular facility size
and configuration
- Develop and produce
comprehensive Invitation to Tender (ITT) Packages including specifications
and drawings that will permit a client to obtain competitive quotations
ensuring a like-for-like tendering basis
- Evaluate and
report to clients about subsequent quotations received
- Produce fully
detailed designs and working drawings if required
- Obtain early indicative
opinions about Town & Country Planning issues and any implications
on building regulations approval
- Monitor, oversee
and report on an engaged contractor's performance during the build,
commissioning, testing and validation stages of a project
CRC maintains active links
with a number of experienced associates, who regularly work with
us and augment our in-house design experience. These disciplines
include civil, structural and building work, process plant, control,
monitoring and distribution system design and installation and interior
design for laboratories and associated general office areas that
may form a part of a facility.
CRC and its associates carry Professional Indemnity
Insurance, which covers their consultancy activities.
